Terms and Conditions of use of the website

  1. Roadhaulage.com is a website operated by Domainwise Limited of 1st floor, 1 Carrera House, Merlin Court, Gatehouse Close, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire HP19 8DP (Company No. 03986873).
  2. In these terms, ‘Roadhaulage.com’, ‘we’ and ‘us’ shall mean the company Domainwise Limited, ‘you’ shall mean any business that advertises on Roadhaulage.com or any individual or business that uses the website and ‘Advertisement’ shall refer to any listing, advertisement or services purchased from Roadhaulage.com.
  3. ‘Working day’ shall mean any day excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
  4. Placing an advertisement

  5. In order to advertise on roadhaulage.com, you must register your details (see Data Protection & Privacy Policy for more information).
  6. You may have one free alphabetical listing in the area of your choice. Roadhaulage.com reserves the right to refuse a free listing at our discretion.
  7. A Premier Listing may be purchased in any one of the directories available according to the extent of your operational area. You will be positioned on a first-come-first-served basis for your applicable area.
  8. A Banner Advertisement occupying a specified location on the website may be purchased. This may be copy and artwork supplied by yourselves or prepared by Roadhaulage.com. Artwork prepared by Roadhaulage.com will be subject to additional cost.
  9. Compliance

  10. You are contracting with Roadhaulage.com to publish an advertisement on its website. If you are placing the advertisement as an agent of a third party, you must be authorised to so do.
  11. The advertisement should not breach any legislation, regulation or contract, or infringe or violate any copyright, trademark or other personal or proprietary right, or render Roadhaulage.com in any way liable.
  12. All copy submitted must be legal, decent, honest and truthful and comply with the British Code of Advertising Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing and any relevant codes of the Advertising Standards Authority, OFCOM or any other applicable body.
  13. You agree that Roadhaulage.com may amend any copy, artwork or other material submitted, in order to abide by the codes and practices in 10 above. However, Roadhaulage.com does not accept any liability for the accuracy of the advertisement or its compliance with those codes and practices.
  14. You agree to check the correctness of your advertisement. Any complaint regarding the advertisement, or email confirmation or invoice, must be raised with Roadhaulage.com within 7 days of publication.
  15. You agree to indemnify Roadhaulage.com against any liability arising from whatever cause in connection with your Advertisement.
  16. You hereby expressly warrant that you are satisfied as to the suitability of the advertising for your own specific purposes and that it is not sold to you on a trial basis.
  17. Payment

  18. The rates for placing an advertisement on the Roadhaulage.com website are set out on the website.
  19. Payment is due in advance, at the time of submitting the details for a Premier Listing or when booking a Banner Advertisement. There are no credit facilities available.
  20. Payment is via Paypal. If you do not have a Paypal account, you may sign up for one before completing your booking. There is no charge for setting up a Paypal account. You will receive confirmation of your payment from Paypal.
  21. You will receive an email confirmation of a regular listing from Roadhaulage.com.
  22. You will receive an email confirmation of an Advertisement booking from Roadhaulage.com together with a tax invoice.
  23. You will receive a further email confirmation from Roadhaulage.com when the Advertisement has been uploaded.
  24. You may remove your free listing at any time by contacting Roadhaulage.com.
  25. A Premier listing or Advertisement can be removed at your request but no refunds will be made.
  26. Obligations of Roadhaulage.com

  27. Roadhaulage.com will endeavour to reproduce and prepare Advertisements as requested but cannot guarantee the results.
  28. Roadhaulage.com may decline to publish, or omit, suspend, edit, or require amendment of any Advertisement accepted for insertion.
  29. Roadhaulage.com will not be liable for any loss of copy, artwork, photographs or other materials, so you should be sure to retain copies or originals.
  30. An Advertisement on Roadhaulage.com’s website is accepted as a trade transaction and Roadhaulage.com is thereby excluded from any liability, howsoever arising, in respect of any express or implied condition, warranty or term, statement, representation whether statutory or otherwise, relating to the Advertisement. The buyer accepts that he is best placed to insure against losses which arise by virtue of any breach of this agreement and warrants that he carries adequate insurance in this respect.
  31. Subsequent to uploading of the Advertisement, Roadhaulage.com shall accept no liability for any error or inaccuracy unless notified of such error within seven days of delivery/receipt of any document containing the said error.
  32. We do not guarantee that this website will be compatible with all hardware and software which may be used by visitors to our site. In no event shall we be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages, or for interrupted communications, lost data, loss of profits, reverses or viruses which may affect your computer equipment, software, data or other property as a result of you accessing, using or browsing our website or you downloading any of the materials, data, text or images contained thereon.
  33. Conditions of your use of this website

  34. This website contains material submitted and created by third parties. Roadhaulage.com uses its best endeavours to ensure that all material accepted for publication is inoffensive, truthful and legal.
  35. The information contained in this website is for information purposes. Roadhaulage.com accepts no responsibility for inaccuracies or expired information that may be found on the website. Please make your own checks on advertiser details before proceeding with any agreement.
  36. Roadhaulage.com makes no warranty that this website is free from computer viruses.
  37. Roadhaulage.com endeavours to make this website available 24/7, but shall not be liable if for any reason the website goes down. The service may be temporarily offline for a variety of reasons beyond the control of Roadhaulage.com.
  38. The contents of this website may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, downloaded, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means without the prior express written permission of Roadhaulage.com.
  39. You may not supply a link to this website from any other website without first obtaining the consent of Roadhaulage.com.
  40. An electronic temporary copy held by your computer for the purpose of viewing the website is permitted.
  41. If you enter into an agreement with an Advertiser on Roadhaulage.com, then your agreement will be governed by that advertisers terms and conditions.
  42. Roadhaulage.com accepts no responsibility for the content of websites linked to its website via advertisers.
  43. Material submitted by you

  44. By submitting any material to this website, you automatically grant Roadhaulage.com the licence to use such material and by submitting an advertisement you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  45. You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from this Website any material:

    • (a) that is threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, seditious, offensive, pornographic, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, inflammatory, blasphemous, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy or which may cause annoyance or inconvenience; or
    • (b) for which you have not obtained all necessary licences and/or approvals; or
    • (c) which constitutes or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise be contrary to the law of or infringe the rights of any third party, in the UK or any other country in the world; or

The only record Roadhaulage.com keeps is the authorisation number received from the bank. This is to ensure against the use of stolen cards.

This provides that the information which we hold about you should be processed fairly and lawfully and should be accurate, relevant and not excessive.
